Kichibei Miyashita (born 1964) was a Japanese TMPD police officer who was stationed in Kabukicho, Tokyo during the 2000s. On the evening of 7 December 2005, he responded to a street fight involving Kazuma Kiryu and Shinichi Shinohara on one side and Jyun Saiki on the other, and Shinichi reported to Miyashita that he had intervened in a fight in which a man was harassing the woman Hako Takahara. Shinohara, like Kiryu, thought that Saiki was the man harassing Takahara, but, when Takahara - angry at Shinohara for tackling her boyfriend - went up to him and slapped him, Miyashita determined that Kiryu was the harasser. Kiryu also denied being the harasser, although he admitted that he was also initially mistaken. A confused Miyashita asked Kiryu to give him the short version of the story, and Kiryu revealed that he had come across Saiki and Takahara arguing and mistook Saiki for a man trying to rob Takahara; Saiki then admitted to Miyashita that he had caused a scene and apologized, and he then said that he had fought Saiki as a result, and Shinohara tackled Saiki when the latter drew a knife. Shinohara also apologized, and, with the situation explained and resolved, Miyashita was satisfied and made no arrests.
