Khine Thura

Khine Thura (1514-23 January 1543) was a 16th-century Burmese mercenary from Moulmein. In January 1543, he was one of the eight Burmese men who volunteered to join the Portuguese adventurer Calixto Braga's party, and he and the other Burmese volunteers were massacred during a confrontation with a band of Chinese mercenaries led by Xin Guofeng in central Malaya.
