
Khatun Al-Alta of the Ilkhanate (1244-) was the Khatun of the Ilkhanate from 1265, succeeding Khatun Oghul of the Ilkhanate.
Biography[]
Al-Alta was born in 1244 to a lowborn family of Tengri Mongols. She married Teguder Khan, the son of Hulegu Khan, and she became the khatun of the Ilkhanate in 1265 upon Hulegu's death and Teguder's coronation. She disliked her husband very much, but she had a son with him, Prince Alagh of the Ilkhanate.
