
Khan Tortogul of Mongolia (960-1030) was the khan of the Yenisei Kirghiz from 980 to 1030, succeeding Khan Sotan of Mongolia and preceding Khan Uzluk of Mongolia.
Biography[]
Tortogul was born in 960 to the Manichaean Yenisei Kirghiz Kyrgyz tribe, and he succeeded his father Khan Sotan of Mongolia as khan of the Yenisei Kirghiz on his death in 980. Tortogul had a long reign of 50 years, and when he died in 1030, he was succeeded by his son Khan Uzluk of Mongolia.
