Khalil bin Khaled bin Abdulrashid

Khalil bin Khaled bin Abdulrashid (14 March 1890-16 October 1977) was a prince of the royal House of Saud of Saudi Arabia.

Biography[]

Khalil bin Khaled bin Abdulrashid was born on 14 March 1890 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Khaled bin Abdulrashid bin Mohammed and his wife Fatima binta Kamil bin Saud, and was his 5th son. His brothers were Asad bin Khaled bin Abdulrashid, Kamil bin Khaled bin Abdulrashid, Hussein bin Khaled bin Abdulrashid, and Jaffar bin Khaled bin Abdulrashid. Khalil was raised in a rich family, part of the royal House of Saud. He lived in a mansion in Riyadh with his family and was an afficionate of trains, and studied at Dartmouth University in the United States in hopes of getting an education in engineering. Khalil helped in the construction of a railroad in Hejaz in 1933, and built one from Riyadh to Oman in 1937. He died in 1977 with a net worth of $15,600,000.
