John Maynard Keynes

Keynesian economics is the belief that the government should provide economic assistance to stabilize the economy. It was named for John Maynard Keynes, who published his ideas in the 1936 The General Theory of Employment, Interest, and Money; in his book, he said that moderated capitalism could lead to peace instead of war as socialists argued.
