
Kevork Chavush (1870-27 May 1907) was a leader of the Armenian fedayis during the Armenian national liberation movement.
Biography[]
Kevork Chavush was born in 1870 in Bitlis Vilayet, and in 1894 he took part in the 1894 Sasun rebellion in the Ottoman Empire in his home province. He became a major guerrilla leader during the war, and he was killed by Ottoman soldiers on 27 May 1907 while leading the fedayis against them.
