The Kerman bombings occurred on 3 January 2024 when the Islamic State bombed a commemorative ceremony at the tomb of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani on the fourth anniversary of his assassination by the United States, killing at least 84 people and injuring 284.

Soleimani had been buried in Kerman on 7 January 2020, and a stampede at his funeral procession killed at least 50 mourners and caused injuries to over 200 individuals. In January 2024, the dormant Islamic State terrorist group planned an attack on a ceremony commemorating one of their arch-nemeses, Soleimani, whose IRGC-Quds Force had played a major role in coordinating the fight against IS in Iraq. Between 3:50 and 4 PM PM, two explosions struck a procession going towards Soleimani's tomb in Kerman's Golzar Shohada cemetery; the explosives had been placed near a parking lot and at Shohada Street, where many had fled from the first explosion. Two briefcase bombs placed at the entrance were detonated remotely; one bomb was said to have been placed inside a trash bin. On 4 January, however, Iranian state media claimed that the attacks were carried out by suicide bombers. At least 84 people were killed and another 284 injured, and several of the injured were trampled in the panic that followed the explosion. That evening, crowds gathered at the cemetery to chant "Death to Israel" and "Death to America"; the bombings occurred the day after Israel's assassination of Saleh al-Arouri.
