Kent is a county in northeast England, bordering Greater London to the northwest, Surrey to the west, and East Sussex to the southwest. Maidstone is the county town of Kent, and the county is also home to Canterbury Cathedral, the Cinque Ports, Chatham Dockyard, and a great cross-English Channel view of France from Folkestone and the White Cliffs of Dover. In 2016, Kent had a population of 1,820,400 people.
