
Kendra Horn (9 June 1976-) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-OK 5) from 3 January 2019 to 3 January 2021, succeeding Steve Russell and preceding Stephanie Bice.
Biography[]
Kendra Horn was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma in 1976, and she worked as a lawyer before entering politics as a Democrat. In 2018, she ran for the US House of Representatives, and she defeated Republican incumbent Steve Russell and won his seat, the first Democrat to represent the 5th district in 44 years and the first Oklahoma Democrat elected to the US Congress in eight years. She was a member of the conservative Blue Dog Coalition and the centrist New Democrats. In 2020, she was defeated for re-election by Republican candidate Stephanie Bice in a 52%-48% vote.
