Keith Boykin (born 28 August 1965) was a Democratic political operative and progressive political commentator.
Biography[]
Keith Boykin was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1965, and he worked for Michael Dukakis' 1988 Democratic presidential campaign before working on Bill Clinton's 1992 campaign and becoming a presidential aide. He published his first book in 1996, and, from 1999 to 2001, he served as a professor of political science at the American University in Washington DC. After 2008, he became a progressive political commentator on mainstream news outlets,including CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, and BET.
