Kazuki Kasen (12 May 1963 – 1998) was the boss of the Japanese-American Kasen Yakuza from 1991 until his murder in 1998.
Biography
Kazuki was born in Japan to a Yakuza-connected family; he was the older brother of Kenji and Asuka Kasen. He came to America in the 1970s to bring the Kasen Yakuza to New York City, and he married Toshiko Kasen during the early 1980s and had a daughter named Yuka. However, it was rumored he was a closeted homosexual.
Death
In 1998, due to the actions of Massimo Torini, the Yakuza began to regain its reputation after a period of hardships such as opening the Big Shot Casino. After mobster Toni Cipriani began to interfere with his business, he attacked the Big Shot Casino, killing many of his men. Kazuki was then killed in a sword fight with Toni, and, shortly afterward, his wife Toshiko committed suicide.
