Kazuaki Ino was a Japanese landlord who owned the Navy Apartments in Onomichi, Hiroshima Prefecture. He was high school classmates with Kiyomi Kasahara and Tsuyoshi Nagumo, with whom he competed for Kiyomi's affection. In 2016, Kiyomi persuaded Ino to loan Kazuma Kiryu a vacant room in the Navy Apartments while he searched for his missing adoptive daughter Haruka Sawamura. While Ino was initially bitter towards Kiryu, believing him interested in Kiyomi, he warmed up to him after Kiryu beat down Nagumo and the Jingai Thunder baseball team after Nagumo injured every member of Ino's team. Ino later contributed his boat to the Hirose-gumi's rescue of Haruto Sawamura from the Jingweon Mafia.
