Katherine Clark (17 July 1963-) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-MA 5) from 12 December 2013, succeeding Ed Markey.
Biography[]
Katherine Clark was born in New Haven, Connecticut in 1963, and she worked as an attorney in Chicago, as a law clerk in Colorado, and as a general counsel in Massachusetts before entering politics as a Democratic Party member. She served in the State House of Representatives from 2008 to 2011, in the State Senate from 2011 to 2013, and in the US House of Representatives from 2013. She was a member of the Progressive Democrats.
