Katakura Muneto (born 1157) was the daimyo of the Katakura clan of northern Japan, a general of Motoyama Sadasuke, and the leader of a winter 1182 uprising against the Kubota Fujiwara clan. A general of low rank and loyalty, he was a poor commander, but had a large army.
