The Organisation Kameraden was a neo-Nazi secret society which was founded by the SS general Emil Rausch and Josef Mengele after the end of World War II. Mengele harbored dreams of restoring the Third Reich through resurrecting Adolf Hitler, and, throughout the 1960s and 1970s, he devised plans to use samples of Hitler's DNA to create cloned babies to be sent to different parts of the world for adoption, in the hopes that at least one of them would grow up to be like Hitler and found the Fourth Reich. In 1978, at the home of Ralph Gunther in Paraguay, Mengele announced to his associates Gunther, Gerhardt Mundt, Ludwig Trausteiner, Gunter Farnbach, Dietrich Hessen, Wolfgang Kleist, and Otto Schwimmer his plan to kill 94 men on or near certain dates in the next two and a half years. 16 were in West Germany, 14 in Sweden, 13 in England, 12 in America, 10 in Norway, 9 in Austria, 8 in Holland, 6 in Denmark, and 6 in Canada, and all of them would be assassinated when they turned sixty-five. These targets were all family men, tax inspectors, civil servants, school principals, and men of minor authority, and they had all been arranged to adopt children with Hitler's DNA before they would be killed, and a doting mother would raise the children in a manner similar to Hitler, who had also lost his father at a young age. Mengele's plot went awry after the Nazi hunter Ezra Lieberman discovered the pattern of the murders, noticed the exact physical similarities among the adopted boys, discovered Frieda Maloney's role in sending them off to specific couples, and realized that the boys were clones of Hitler and were put in the conditions necessary for them to grow up to be like him. Upon learning of the success of Lieberman's investigation, Rausch ordered the assassins recalled after only four assassinations, ending Mengele's plot.
