Kamei Korekata (died August 1864) was the daimyo of the Tsuwano Domain during the Boshin War. He succeeded Kamei Korenao, and was in charge of 30,000 koku of land in Chugoku. Korekata fought for the Tokugawa Shogunate against the Choshu Domain and the other Imperial domains, and he and his general Nabeshima Masatake defeated the pro-Imperial forces at the Second Battle of Koriyama, although Nabeshima was stabbed to death by the Choshu Domain's spearmen. In August, the Choshu army returned to Aki and massacred Korekata's 284-strong army after a skirmish which left only 37 Choshu soldiers dead.
