Kaitlan Collins (7 April 1992-) was an American journalist who served as a White House Correspondent for the conservative news website The Daily Caller and later for CNN.
Biography[]
Kaitlan Collins was born in Prattville, Alabama in 1992, and she graduated from the University of Alabama in 2014 before being hired by Tucker Carlson's conservative The Daily Caller as an entertainment reporter. In 2017, she became the website's White House Correspondent, and she was hired by CNN as a White House correspondent that same year. In July 2018, whe was barred from a White House press conference by President Donald Trump after asking him about Vladimir Putin and Michael Cohen. From 11 January 2021 to 15 September 2022, she served as chief White House correspondent, after which she hosted CNN This Morning.
