Kahanism is an extremist Jewish ideology based on the views of Rabbi Meir Kahane, founder of the Jewish Defense League and the Kach party in Israel. Kahane believed that the majority of Arabs living in Israel were enemies of Jews and Israel itself, and the party supported a theocratic state in which only Jews would have the right to vote. The ideology was far-right on the political spectrum, and Kach was banned in both the United States and Israel.
