Kadar al-Sayf (died 1191) was a member of the Hashshashin from Syria.
Biography[]
Kadar was a son of Fahim al-Sayf and was brought up in the Hashshashin fortress of Masyaf in Syria. He was the younger brother of Malik al-Sayf, a fellow Assassin. Kadar was trained under Rashid ad-Din Sinan ("Al Mualim"), and was an apprentice of Assassin Altair Ibn-La'Ahad, and along with him and Malik he was sent to Jerusalem to find the Ark of the Covenant.
Death[]
The party entered Solomon's Temple and snuck underneath the old foundations in the caves, but found a party of Knights Templars under Robert de Sable already there near the Ark. The three broke the Creed by attacking without stealth, and Altair failed to attack Robert, who grabbed his wrists so that he could not use the hidden blades. Altair escaped, leaving Kadar to his death to the hacking of swords, while Malik's arm was cut off.
