
Kabil of Makuria (883-943) was the king of Makuria from 930 to 943, succeeding Zakharias III of Makuria and preceding Georgios II of Makuria.
Biography[]
Kabil was born in 883 to the House of Azim, a dynasty of Christian Nubians that ruled over Makuria. He succeeded his father Zakharias III of Makuria as the king of Makuria upon his death in 930, and he ruled for 13 years. When he died, he was succeeded by his son Georgios II of Makuria.
