Kabeer el-Farag (1764-late August 1798) was a leader of the 1798 Cairo Revolt. Born in Cairo, el-Farag was radicalized by fanatic imams during the French Revolutionary Wars, and he became one of the leaders of the anti-French uprising. el-Farag was killed when Auguste Marmont's army crushed the revolt.
