Junaid Iqbal (2 February 1968-7 April 2011) was a Colonel of the Libyan Arab Army during the Libyan Civil War.
Biography[]
Junaid Iqbal was born on 2 February 1968 in Tajoura, Libya, 17 miles to the southeast of the capital of Tripoli. Iqbal rose in the ranks of the Libyan Arab Army until reaching the rank of Colonel, and he fought in the Libyan Civil War, and Iqbal was given command of a regiment during the war against the Libyan National Liberation Army. Iqbal was killed in the Third Battle of Brega on 7 April 2011.
