
Juan Antonio Iribarren (7 May 1885-1966) was President of Chile from 17 October to 3 November 1946, succeeding Alfredo Duhalde and preceding Gabriel Gonzalez Videla.
Biography[]
Juan Antonio Iribarren was born in Vicuna, Chile on 7 May 1885, and he was a lawyer before becoming Education Minister in 1942. In 1946, he became President following President Alfredo Duhalde's resignation, and he served until Gabriel Gonzalez Videla assumed office. He retired from the academia in 1954 and died in 1966.
