
Juan Antonio Coloma Correa (15 July 1956-) was a Chilean UDI Deputy from 11 March 1990 to 11 March 2002 and a Senator from 11 March 2002. He was the father of Juan Antonio Coloma Alamos.
Biography[]
Juan Antonio Coloma Correa was born in Santiago, Chile in 1956, the nephew of Juan Antonio Coloma Mellado. He became a lawyer in 1979, and he became President of the Students' Federation of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile in 1977, selected by Augusto Pinochet's military dictatorship. From 1977 to 1989, he served on the Council of State, and he went on to serve in the Chamber of Deputies from 1990 to 2002 and in the Senate from 2002. He also served as Secretary-General of the Independent Democratic Union from 1994 to 2006 and as its President from 2008 to 2012.
