Josias Swynford (1066-) was an English nobleman during the 11th and 12th centuries. He was known for his loyalty and his Catholic piety, and, in 1094, he was adopted by King William II of England. He was sent to govern the Welsh city of Caernarvon, keeping the Crown's Welsh subjects in line.
