Josiah Dean (6 March 1748 – 14 October 1818) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-MA 9) from 4 March 1807 to 3 March 1809, succeeding Phanuel Bishop and preceding Laban Wheaton.

Biography[]

Josiah Dean was born in Raynham, Massachusetts in 1748, and he worked in the rolling-mill and shipbuilding businesses. He served in the State Senate from 1804 to 1807, in the US House of Representatives from 1807 to 1809, and in the State House from 1810 to 1811. He died in 1818.
