
Joshua Herrick (18 March 1793-30 August 1874) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-ME 1) from 4 March 1843 to 3 March 1845, succeeding Nathan Clifford and preceding John F. Scamman. Born in Beverly, Massachusetts, he served in the War of 1812 before working in the cotton industry in Brunswick, Maine. He served as a customs inspector at Kennebunkport from 1829 to 1841, as town clerk from 1832 to 1842, in Congress, and in several local offices.
