
Joseph Richardson (1 February 1778-25 September 1871) was a member of the US House of Representatives (NR-MA 11) from 4 March 1827 to 3 March 1831, succeeding Aaron Hobart and preceding John Quincy Adams. Born in Billerica, he worked as a teacher in Charlestown before becoming a minister in Hingham, a state delegate, and a congressman.
