
Joseph Hammons (3 March 1787-29 March 1836) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-NH AL) from 4 March 1829 to 3 March 1833, succeeding Titus Brown and preceding Joseph M. Harper. Born in Cornish, Maine, he practiced medicine in Farmington, New Hampshire before serving in Congress and as postmaster of Dover from 1833 to 1836.
