Joseph Halsey Crane (31 August 1782-13 November 1851) was a member of the US House of Representatives (NR-OH 3) from 4 March 1829 to 3 March 1837, succeeding William McLean and preceding Patrick Gaines Goode. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he practiced law in Dayton, Ohio before serving in the state house in 1809, in the War of 1812, as a common pleas judge from 1817 to 1829, and in Congress.
