Joseph Bryan (18 August 1773 – 12 September 1812) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-GA) from 4 March 1803 to 1806, preceding Dennis Smelt.
Biography[]
Joseph Bryan was born in Savannah, Georgia in 1773, and he traveled in France during the American Revolutionary War before engaging in mercantile pursuits on Wilmington Island in Georgia. He went on to serve in the US House of Representatives from 1803 to 1806, and he died in 1812.
