Private First Class Joseph Samuel Allen (1994–12 August 2016) was an American soldier and operative in Task Force 141, having been transferred from the US Army Rangers by Lieutenant General Herschel Shepherd himself. Allen was killed by Vladimir Makarov in the ending minutes of the Zakhaev Airport massacre, his identity having been leaked by Shepherd so that a world war could begin.

Joseph Allen ran a training course at Firebase Phoenix under the supervision of Corporal James Dunn. Lieutenant General Herschel Shepherd oversaw Allen's performance and later personally recruited him into Task Force 141.
