Joram I of Axum (956-1019) was the king of Axum from 960 to 1019, succeding Gudit of Axum and preceding Eremias I of Axum.
Biography[]
Joram was born into the royal Jewish House of Gideon, the son of Queen Gudit of Axum. Joram became king at a young age in 960, only four years old, when his mother died of natural causes. Joram became the new leader of Axum, which he led for 59 years, until he died at the age of 63 in 1019. He was succeeded by his son Eremias I of Axum.
