John Vincent Kenny (6 April 1893-2 June 1975) was Mayor of Jersey City from 1 July 1949 to 15 December 1953, succeeding Frank H. Eggers and preceding Bernard J. Berry.

John Vincent Kenny was born in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1893, and he was a Democratic ward leader under Mayor Frank Hague. He put together a commission ticket that broke Hague's 32-year-rule in 1949, and he served as Mayor from 1949 to 1953 and as the political boss of Hudson County for three decades. In 1971, he was convicted of extortion due to his involvement in a kickback scheme, and he died of a heart attack in 1975.
