John Rolle Walter (1714-30 November 1779) was the Tory MP for Exeter from 1754 to 1776 and for Devon from 1776 to 1779. The son of MP John Rolle, he was a staunch Tory who supported peace preliminaries in 1762, voted against the repeal of the Stamp Act 1765, and later voted against the court on John Wilkes in 1775.
