John Reilly PA

John Reilly (22 February 1836-19 April 1904) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-PA 17) from 4 March 1875 to 3 March 1877, succeeding Robert Milton Speer and preceding Jacob Miller Campbell.

Biography[]

John Reilly was born in Abnerville, Pennsylvania in 1836, and he worked in the railroad industry before serving as president of the board of city commissioners of Altoona from 1872 to 1873. Reilly served in the US House of Representatives from 1875 to 1877 before returning to the railroad industry and moving to Philadelphia, where he died in 1904.
