John Pugh (2 June 1761 – 13 July 1842) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-PA 2) from 1805 to 1809, succeeding Isaac Van Horne and preceding John Ross.
Biography[]
John Pugh was born in Hilltown Township, Pennsylvania in 1761, and he served as a militia captain in the American Revolutionary War before serving in the State House from 1800 to 1804, in the US House of Representatives from 1805 to 1809, and as Bucks County recorder of deeds from 1810 to 1821. He died in 1842.
