Jonathan Michael Price, Jr. (born 25 September 1976) is a British soldier operating as the commander of Task Force 141. He previously served as a captain in the British Army's Special Air Service, where he spent the majority of his military career fighting terrorist organizations such as Imran Zakhaev's Ultranationalist Party, Khaled al-Asad's insurgents, Vladimir Makarov's Inner Circle, Omar Sulaman's al-Qatala, and El Sin Nombre's Las Almas Cartel.
Price has also fought against militarized forces, as well, including elements of the Russian Army during World War III, General Roman Barkov's Russian Army contingent in Syria and Georgia, and the reformed al-Qatala under the leadership of al-Asad. Price is known and respected throughout the West, having earned dozens of medals for his heroics.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Jonathan Michael Price was born on 25 September 1976 in Herefordshire, England, to a military family; his father, paternal grandfather, and paternal great-grandfather all served in the British Army's Special Air Service. His great-grandfather, Humphrey Price, was a captain in the SAS during World War II, but he was killed during an infiltration of the German battleship Tirpitz. His father, Jonathan Price, also served in the SAS and participated in Operation Charybdis in 1978, which aimed to find and eliminate rogue CIA agents Alex Mason, Grigori Weaver, and Jason Hudson. Price's father also fought in the Falklands War as well as the 1984 proxy war in Verdansk, Georgia, where he lost full use of his right arm.
Early military service[]
Price joined the British Army at the age of 16 in 1992, quickly establishing himself as an excellent soldier. Price was one of the youngest cadets ever to graduate as a commissioned officer from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, as well as one of the youngest to complete the Special Service Commando selection, thanks to his exceptional intuition and unwavering drive. This "badged" him as an SAS soldier, serving as a Lieutenant on Captain Quinn MacMillan's Alpha Team.
Pripyat raid[]
In 1996, Price and MacMillan were charged with assassinating Imran Zakhaev, a former Soviet official turned ultranationalist and arms dealer. The assassination was to take place among the ruins of Pripyat, Ukraine, near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. The two were inserted by helicopter some miles away from their rendezvous point, avoiding mercenaries and radioactive pockets.

John Price, 1996
Eventually, they arrived in Pripyat and set up an ideal sniping spot at a hotel. After three days, the arms deal took place and Price shot Zakhaev's left arm off with a Barrett M82 sniper rifle. Price then immediately shot the pilot of an Mi-28 Hind gunship that was firing at the two of them, crashing it. They made their escape to the exfiltration spot at the Ferris wheel, though MacMillan's legs were severely injured by another crashing gunship; this forced Price to carry him there. The two fought off the mercenaries until they were extracted, with MacMillan being forced to retire from field duty due to his mangled legs. Price was recommended for promotion by MacMillan, but concerns of Price's youth were taken into account and the request was subsequently denied. Though they initially believed Zakhaev to have bled out, he was instead driven to safety by Vladimir Makarov and Yuri Astakhov.
Counter-terrorist operations[]
However, Price gained the command of the 22nd SAS Regiment's Bravo Team for his heroics in Pripyat, going on countless counter-terrorist raids across the Middle East. Gary Elliott, nicknamed Gaz as a shortening of his first name, was assigned as his second-in-command, helping Price in their missions together. Price had been shot, captured, abandoned, blown up, locked up, tortured, and left-for-dead, but always managed to survive and make it back to the West. He became an extremely capable and competent soldier during the 2000s, becoming an excellent tracker, terrorist hunter, and possessing a knack for quickly developing links to freedom fighters across the globe.
In 2005, Bravo Team was sent to Beirut, Lebanon to assist the Lebanese Armed Forces in killing or capturing a major al-Qaeda cell within the city. The brothers Mikhail and Kiril Kamarov of the Spetsnaz were also sent to assist the Lebanese, a rare cooperation between the East and West. While clearing houses, Mikhail was injured by an RPG explosion and captured, which Kiril witnessed. He immediately asked Price and Gaz to rescue his brother, who did so; both as a favor and also in order to gain some contacts in the Russian military. They finished their mission and exfiltrated the site, the Kamarov brothers owing Price.

John Price, 2009
In 2009, Price was contacted by Commander Farah Karim, who was incarcerated in General Roman Barkov's prison in Tobrak, Syria, where he also held a chemical facility. The news of the facility was quickly sent to command, who ordered Bravo Team to covertly destroy the illegal facility and free any prisoners there. The team attacked the facility, prompting a prison break of Karim and her followers. The prisoners were rescued after being ambushed by Barkov's men, who Bravo Team ambushed in turn. Price then helped Karim free her brother Hadir and the other prisoners, before advising the two to set up a base in the mountains, as Barkov would never find them until they were ready. Bravo Team then exfiltrated the scene.
Second Russian Civil War[]

John Price, 2011
In 2011, Price was finally promoted to Captain at the urging of now-Major General MacMillan. In late August, Price received word from an informant known as Nikolai that an Estonian cargo freighter - called the Väljakutse - was transporting dangerous material, reporting this to command and waiting for clearance to intercept. Price oversaw new recruit John MacTavish's training at Credenhill during this time, where Price questioned MacTavish's nickname of "Soap" before watching MacTavish go through the CQB test in a mock cargo ship; unknown to Soap, this was to train for his upcoming mission in the Bering Strait.
Operation Crew Expendable[]
Bravo Team was given clearance to intercept the Väljakutse as it crossed the Bering Strait on 1 September 2011, flying in via helicopter alongside Soap, his right-hand-man Gaz, Sergeant Adam Wallcroft, and Corporal Rhys Griffen. They stealthily worked their way through the ship, discovering it was manned by Ultranationalist soldiers and carrying plutonium. Immediately after this discovery, MiG-29s began to strafe the ship, with Bravo Team making it out in the nick of time before the ship sunk.
Rescue of Nikolai[]
On 2 September 2011, Bravo Team was sent to the Caucasus Mountains to rescue Nikolai, who was captured soon after reporting the cargo freighter to Price. They met with Sergeant Mikhail Kamarov, now a Loyalist commander. Despite their goals differing, Kamarov paid back the favor from Beirut and helped Price with finding Nikolai at a power station after securing a nearby town. Though they exfiltrated, their helicopter was shot down by a SAM missile over Western Russia.
The survivors quickly gathered themselves and called for another extraction, with the aid of an American AC-130H Spectre gunship. They make it to the extraction point after intense firefighting in villages and a junkyard.
Finding al-Asad[]

Price answers al-Asad's phone
After the nuclear detonation in Basra, Iraq, on 3 September 2011, Price and Bravo Team are tasked to find and capture Khaled al-Asad at his safehouse in Amsar, Azerbaijan, with coordinates given by Nikolai and assistance given in the form of troops by Sergeant Kamarov. Though they witness the Ultranationalists massacring the Azerbaijani villagers, they could do nothing but avenge them by killing their murderers. The team goes through multiple safehouses before eventually finding the one al-Asad was in.
After capturing him, they subjected al-Asad to intense torture, though he never reveals who gave him the nuclear device. However, his phone rings and Price answers, only to hear Imran Zakhaev on the other end. Immediately, Price shoots al-Asad in the forehead, seemingly killing him. They quickly disposed of his body, and Price explains how he knew Zakhaev while waiting for extraction. Eight hours later, a massive Ultranationalist counter-attack commenced on the small town. The team was successful, and they were extracted shortly after by US FORECON Marines led by Staff Sergeant Jackson Griggs.
Attempted capture of Viktor Zakhaev[]
New information was given by Kamarov regarding Viktor Zakhaev - who was Imran's son - including his location. A joint force consisting of SAS, US Marines, and Loyalist troops were tasked to capture Viktor in Uzlovoy, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. Disguised as Ultranationalists, they ambushed "Zakhaev" and chased him through the village and a large building. "Zakhaev" committed suicide before the SAS could capture him, Gaz exclaiming that fhe was their only lead. Price, however, knew Imran would not let his son's death go unanswered, and the team left the premises.
Operation in the Altay Mountains[]
Soon after his son's death, Imran Zakhaev threatened to launch missiles towards the United States. The task force parachuted in to stop Zakhaev, though the mission quickly took a detour to rescue Griggs, as he was captured soon after landing. Two nuclear missiles launched, directed towards the US East Coast, as soon as Griggs was rescued; should the missiles hit, the estimated casualties would be around 41 million.
The team fought through heavy Ultranationalist resistance, including three BMP-2 light tanks. They eventually reach a vent into the facility, cutting it open and rappeling in. They would reach the missile control center, entering abort codes sent by the Loyalists: this would shut down the missiles and save over 40 million lives. Price and his team would exfiltrate, pursued by a Hind and several trucks.
The Hind would eventually destroy a bridge, crashing the truck. Gaz and Griggs are soon killed by Zakhaev and the Ultranationalists, and Soap was almost killed as well before the Hind was destroyed, distracting Zakhaev. Price slid his M1911 to Soap, who shot the terrorist leader and his bodyguards. Both of them are rescued by Loyalist forces, who are transported to a Loyalist hospital to recover.
Operation Kingfish[]
Price and Soap were eventually invited to US Marine Corps General Hershel Shepherd's newly formed NATO counter-terrorist Task Force 141. They were designated to deal with Zakhaev's protege: Vladimir Makarov. Makarov had formed a new terrorist cell called the Inner Circle, composed of Ultranationalist hardliners that did not align with the more moderate Ultranationalist government that won the Second Russian Civil War. Price led several raids on Inner Circle bases over the next two years with the goal of capturing/killing Makarov.
On 8 October 2013, Task Force 141 conducted Operation Kingfish, a raid on one of Makarov's safehouses. Price's team consisted of Soap, Simon "Ghost" Riley, and Gary "Roach" Sanderson. Two Delta Force operators also participated in the raid: Derek "Frost" Westbrook and Alex "Sandman" Hart. The operation failed spectacularly, resulting in Price's capture and internment in a gulag 40 miles east of Petropavlovsk, Kamchatka Krai, Russia for the next three years.
Rescue[]

Price escaping from the gulag.
On 14 August 2016, an operation to rescue Price was conducted by Task Force 141 and the US 6th Fleet, who was already assigned to wipe out the heavily fortified prison. After taking out dozens of Russian Army and Inner Circle soldiers, TF141 came upon Price who ambushed Roach, assuming he was a Russian soldier. Soap immediately convinced him to stand down, handing back the M1911 Price gave him to kill Zakhaev. They immediately exfiltrated as the Gulag was being bombed by US Navy aircraft.
World War III[]
Missile in the Air[]
Almost immediately after his reinstatement as Captain, Price conducted a contingency plan to end the war in the United States and assist the Americans where he must get to a Russian nuclear submarine. Price, Roach, and Ghost infiltrated the Rybachiy Nuclear Submarine Base, the latter two defending Price from a distance as he entered a docked submarine. Though they believed Price was going to destroy it, he instead launched a nuclear missile towards Washington DC, where the fighting was most fierce.
The missile detonated in the air above DC, wiping out all electronic equipment and saving countless US Army Ranger lives, including Sergeant Malcolm Foley's team who were surrounded by Russian forces near their downed helicopter. However, the explosion also destroyed the ISS in the resulting shockwave, killing several astronauts.
Betrayal[]
The following day, Shepherd split TF141 into groups to go to two different locations where Makarov was supposedly in hiding: a safehouse on the Georgian-Russian border and an aircraft boneyard in Afghanistan. Both forces are soon attacked by Shepherd's Shadow Company; despite Price's warnings over the radio, they came too late as Roach and Ghost were shot and burned. Soap and Price fought out of the boneyard with the few surviving TF141 members and evac from their contact, Nikolai. Price received the location of Shepherd from Makarov, being at Site Hotel Bravo in the mountains. Task Force 141 was soon disavowed by NATO, the nuclear explosion over DC rendering the remaining members war criminals.
Assassination of Shepherd[]

Price preparing to infiltrate Site Hotel Bravo.
Price and Soap infiltrated Site Hotel Bravo on 16 August, killing dozens of Shadow Company soldiers despite heavy resistance, the self-destruction of the main base, and an artillery strike by the Company. The two then chased Shepherd, who was evacuating on an MH-53 Pave Low, on a Zodiac boat across the neighboring river. Price eventually shot down the helicopter, but the Zodiac fell down a waterfall, severely injuring both of them.
A lengthy CQC battle engaged between Shepherd, Price, and Soap, with Shepherd gaining the upper hand until a knife was thrown into his eye by Soap. Nikolai and a Loyalist Russian helicopter soon arrived, evacuating the two of them to a safehouse in Himachal Pradesh, India. The death of Shepherd landed the two at the top of NATO's wanted, right next to Makarov.
Ambush in India[]
Soap nearly bled out from the knife he pulled out of his chest to kill Shepherd on the trip to the safehouse, though a doctor shortly attended to Soap upon their arrival in India on 17 August. However, Makarov sent an Inner Circle force to tie up loose ends and eliminate the few TF141 members remaining. Price and Yuri Astokhov defended Soap as they fought through the Indian village, being evacuated by Nikolai shortly afterwards.
Operations in Africa[]

Price and Soap in Sierra Leone.
Less than a month later, on 5 October, Price, Soap, and Yuri infiltrated one of Makarov's warehouses in Imperi, Sierra Leone operated by African Militia. This was during a genocidal war waged by the Militia. They discovered that chemical shipments were being sent to capitals all across Europe under the shell company of Fregata Industries. Price attempted to warn the West by contacting his mentor MacMillan, now operating as Baseplate, and telling him about the chemicals. This came too late, as trucks carrying the gas were deployed all over Europe, killing thousands of civilians.
MacMillan, cashing in a favor for Pripyat, supplied TF141 with information on the Somalian warlord Waraabe, who assisted Makarov with the distribution and production of the gas. TF141 raided Waraabe's compound in Bosaso, Somalia, fighting through his men and interrogating Waraabe with the gas. He divulged information on Viktor Khristenko, nicknamed "Volk", stating that they only met him and not Makarov. Price then shot Waraabe after handing him a gas mask, exclaiming that it was for the boys at Hereford who died from the gas.
The evacuation was complicated, as the original evac was shot down by Militia soldiers. TF141 rescued Nikolai, who flew the crashed helicopter, and evacuated under the cover of a heavy sandstorm. They later sent this information to Sandman, who communicated this to NATO. In response, Sandman and Team Metal are sent in to capture Volk in the besieged city of Paris, with the assistance of the remaining members of the GIGN. They succeeded in this task after a chase through the Parisian Catacombs and the streets of Paris, along with a difficult evac near the collapsing Eiffel Tower.
Tracking down Makarov[]
On 10 October, TF141 infiltrated the city of Prague, Czech Republic, which was under a strict martial law by the occupying Russian Army. The goal was to assassinate Makarov at the Hotel Lustig, a known meeting place for the Inner Circle. The assistance of Sergeant Kamarov and the Czech Resistance was needed as distraction. Price was to infiltrate the Hotel while Yuri and Soap provided sniper overwatch. After Yuri and Soap made it to the overlooking church tower, they waited until morning for Makarov to arrive and Kamarov to give the all clear.
Kamarov never gave the all clear, but Price moved ahead. Yuri assisted Price with several guards being sniped, though Price came across Kamarov rigged with explosives. He apologized before he exploded, the church tower also exploding after Yuri was called out by name from his former friend Makarov; however, Soap pushed Yuri out before the detonation and was caught in the blast radius. Price and Yuri carried Soap to a nearby Resistance safehouse, killing several Russian Army soldiers as they attempted to intercept them.

Soap made it to the safehouse, but died shortly after telling Price that Makarov knew Yuri. He then took his M1911 out, placing it on Soap's corpse. Price then led Yuri to the basement, where he punched the Russian down the stairs, demanding how Makarov knew him. Yuri told Price his story, from the Pripyat assassination to the nuclear explosion in Basra and finally to the Zakhaev International Airport massacre. Price spared him, knowing Yuri was making amends, realizing the domino effect on the world his failure in Pripyat caused.
Infiltration of Karlstenj Castle[]

Price infiltrating Karlstejn Castle.
The two evacuated Prague, Yuri supplying Price with their next target: Karlstenj Castle, a location where Makarov stored weapons in the past. Price contacted MacMillan soon after, who confirmed this suspicion and supplied Price and Yuri with special forces equipment. During the infiltration, the two discover that the Russians know of the location of Alena Vorshevsky, Russian president Boris Vorshevsky's daughter, in Berlin, Germany. After a hot exfiltration, Price sent this information to Team Metal, who communicated this info to NATO. Despite their best efforts, Russian forces captured Alena before Metal could reach them.
Rescuing the Russian president[]
On 14 October, TF141 and Team Metal, save for Frost who was injured in Berlin, formed a joint operation to rescue the duo in an old diamond mine in eastern Siberia. This operation was on the clock, as Vorshevsky would reveal the nuclear launch codes to Makarov if his daughter was threatened. An air battle took place in the sky above, with Russian and NATO planes dogfighting; this provided valuable distraction so that the diamond mine wasn't bombed immediately. The task force succeeded in rescuing both Vorshevskys at the cost of Team Metal, who provided cover fire and died as TF141 and the Vorshevskys evacuated.
In the coming days, Vorshevsky and US President Barack Obama formed a peace treaty, ending WWIII. TF141 was no longer disavowed due to their actions in ending the war. However, this did not put an end to Makarov, as he was still at large despite his plans being in tatters.
Assassination of Vladimir Makarov[]
After months of gathering information and conducting raids on remaining Inner Circle hideouts, Makarov was finally discovered at the Hotel Oasis in Dubai, UAE. With the assistance of Nikolai, Price and Yuri engaged the Hotel Oasis security and Ultranationalists in heavy suits of armor. The two were forced to shed the armor after an encounter with an MH-6 Little Bird, which shredded it. After another firefight with the Inner Circle, the two were assaulted by another Little Bird, partially collapsing the top floor. Yuri is impaled by a piece of rebar, rendering Price the only one able to stop Makarov.
Price jumped on board the escaping Makarov's Little Bird, killing the pilots before the controls were shot, crashing it on the helipad. Makarov got up before Price did, preparing to shoot him with a Desert Eagle before Yuri ambushed him, who was shortly killed afterwards. This provided the distraction needed for Price to kill him, wrapping his neck with a steel cable and shoving him through the glass ceiling. The two fell, Makarov being hung while Price lit a cigar in victory. The Dubai Police Force shortly arrested him, though NATO negotiated his release with the UAE government shortly thereafter with the help of CIA station chief Kate Laswell.
Further operations[]
Task Force 141 was disbanded soon after the events in Dubai, NATO believing that 141 was no longer needed as Makarov had been stopped. Price rejoined the SAS and was granted his old rank and leadership of Bravo Team. He spearheaded the cleanup of the remaining Inner Circle terrorists across the Middle East and the Ukraine, before being relegated to other tasks for the next three years.
Barkov and al-Qatala[]
Piccadilly[]
Price was contacted by Laswell during an assignment in Cambodia about the threat of al-Qatala, a formidable terrorist cell based in Syria. Price later deployed during the 2019 Piccadilly Circus attack on 25 October, saving SAS Sergeant Kyle Garrick from a terrorist exiting the Tanto building. The two saved several hostages inside after tossing a hostage with an active bomb vest over the railing, killing him but saving everyone inside. Garrick was reassigned to Bravo Team after expressing frustration over the rules of engagement, claiming that they could've prevented the attack from happening if they were cleared to do so. Laswell later contacted him, asking for assistance in getting CIA asset "Alex" into Syria safely. Price told her to have him contact Commander Farah Karim of the FSA, using Price's name as a mutual friend.
Operation Clean House[]
Using the intel that Garrick provided, the SAS' Alpha and Bravo Teams conducted Operation Clean House on a townhouse in Camden Town on 27 October, as it was housing the remainder of the London AQ cell. The operation went smoothly, with no casualties thanks to the quick wits of both Garrick and Price. A laptop was discovered in the attic, housing the location of Omar Sulaman, the Wolf and leader of al-Qatala: a hospital in Aleppo.
Embassy evacuation[]
After Sulaman's capture during Operation Hunting Party, by the efforts of the Demon Dogs, their commander Sergeant Marcus Griggs, and Alex, Price and Garrick were sent to the US Embassy in Damascus to extract Sulaman before the AQ-led protest broke into the compound. The duo's helicopter was shot down, the two landing on the roof. They made their way to the ground floor where Jamal Rahar, Sulaman's right hand man, executed a staffer's husband and child infront of her to intimidate everyone inside, as they would share their fate soon. Price and Garrick later fought their way through the Embassy when a Technical crashed through it, AQ poured in and killed dozens of embassy workers, civilians, and US Marines. They later met with Alex, Karim, her brother Hadir, and the still captured Sulaman, though they could not exit and get to the compound without ambassador James Harris' keycard.
Harris was killed soon after being called, his assistant Stacy Davidson grabbed his phone and the keycard. Garrick led her through the embassy to where the others were located, bringing the keycard to them safely. They all vacated the premises to Harris' compound, storing Sulaman in a locked vault guarded by Marines. Price helped fight off the counter attack by AQ terrorists, who eventually managed to extract the Wolf by a breach in the vault.
Hunting the Wolf[]
Price divided his assets, sending Alex, the Karim siblings, and an FSA detachment to overlook the Highway of Death outside the city, while Price and Bravo Team cleared house to house within Damascus, assisted by the FSA within the city. They wouldn't find Sulaman inside, nor would the FSA on the Highway of Death as they were assaulted by AQ and then General Roman Barkov's Russian Army detachment. Price later found Karim and Alex unconscious with gas masks amid a great deal of a chemical agent.
Price, Garrick, Farah, and Alex were briefed by Laswell on the Wolf's compound in the Anti-Lebanon Mountains, the four being deployed alongside Bravo Team. Bravo cleared the upper levels of the compound, while Karim and Alex cleared the lower half and killed Sulaman: this was after an explosion that cut the two off from the rest of the team.
Redesignation of Karim's forces[]
During the debriefing, Laswell revealed at the urging of Colonel Gary Norris that Farah's section of the FSA were to be treated as hostile forces due to Hadir's betrayal. Price threatened Norris, who left the tent afterwards. Farah thanked Price for his help, before she promptly left with Alex. Price and Laswell discussed stopping Hadir's plans against Barkov, requesting permission to stop the AQ in St. Petersburg, Russia. Laswell granted this, as long as they used host nation weapons only.
Operation in St. Petersburg[]
Price contacted his old friend Nikolai, who had become the leader of Chimera PMC, supplying Price and Garrick with weapons and assisting in the capture of Jamal Rahar: this was in order to discover where the chemical payload was stored. Nikolai also kidnapped Rahar's wife and son in order to fully coerce him. Rahar ran as soon as his bodyguards were killed, calling in the rest of the AQ force who proceeded to execute a terrorist attack and attempted to stop the SAS from apprehending their leader. Rahar was intercepted by Nikolai with a van, slamming into him. The duo then held off the accumulating AQ forces as Nikolai restarted his vehicle and Saint Petersburg Police engaged the terrorists as well.
Nikolai drove to a warehouse where the interrogation was to take place, meeting with Yegor Novak, one of Nikolai's mercenaries. The interrogation took place over several hours, but went nowhere after the constant beating of Rahar. Price went to plan B, dragging Rahar's family into the room. Garrick threatened Rahar with his family, before he broke and revealed the gas to be at Karetka Theater. Garrick shot him in his kneecaps to prevent his escape should he get out of his bindings, before the two SAS members escaped in a stolen police car. Nikolai later called the police to inform them of Rahar's location, the gas also being present there.
Going Dark[]
Price and Garrick drove to Barkov's home in Baurci, Moldova. Along the way, Garrick questioned the ethics of threatening a man's family, to which Price stated that someone must do the dirty work, otherwise the world would become dirty with it. Once there, they geared up and infiltrated the compound, finding that the AQ killed the security and tortured Barkov's family for the passcode to Barkov's office. They found Hadir inside along with the plans for Barkov's chemical factory outside of Borjomi, Georgia, where Barkov's contingent attacked the three of them.
They escaped, making it to an evac point where Hadir was handed off to the Russians to prevent yet another war. Price then headed to Syria, intent on handing the plans over to Farah in order to form a black operation on Barkov's factory.

John Price, 2019
Assault on the factory[]
Price and Garrick would spearhead the pipeline assault, facing heavy resistance along the way. They'd eventually reach it, planting bombs on it. They'd quickly evac the area, Farah blowing the pipes and the furnace inside which completely destroyed the factory. Price later met Laswell over tea in the Middle East, discussing the formation of a new task force to combat the ever-present threat of al-Qatala. Price would ask for Kyle Garrick, Simon Riley, who survived Shepherd's betrayal, as well as Johnny MacTavish, a renowned sniper, the youngest SAS recruit ever, and Soap's now-grown son. Laswell asked for the name of this task force and Price gave it: 141, as the recent events proved that the world needed it again.
Verdansk invasion[]
In 2020, the surviving Khaled al-Asad partnered with Viktor Zakhaev to arm al-Qatala with state-of-the-art militarized tech, including tanks, helicopters, and Juggernaut armor. They eventually invaded Verdansk, Georgia in March, prompting the formation of the Armistice: a coalition between NATO, Russia, and mercenary forces with the intention of fighting back the AQ invasion. Price met with Sergeant Kiril Kamarov of the FSB, who handed him a box of cigars to repay the favor in Beirut. Kamarov explained the Armistice to him, Garrick, Laswell, and Nikolai, pulling them into the fold and officially involving Task Force 141.
Later in March, Simon "Ghost" Riley reported to Price after al-Asad released a great deal of toxic gas across Verdansk to cover their retreat, asking for more reinforcements in the wake of the extremely chaotic situation. He managed to escape the city and deployed to an oil yard in Syria, where Price sent the surviving Alex to assist Ghost.
Knowing of the surviving Zakhaev's plans involving the bunkers, Price and Gaz recruit Farah, Nikolai, and Sergeant Griggs to assist in hunting down Zakhaev. Price told Griggs the truth of his brother's death, invigorating Griggs to find the last Zakhaev. They later assault the bunker that Zakhaev was hiding in, killing him before he launched a nuclear missile and finished what his father started. Price then left to assist MacTavish off the coast of Georgia.

Price in 2022
Missile crisis[]
Amsterdam[]
In October 2022, Price and Gaz were assigned to track down and destroy an AQ cell within Amsterdam, Netherlands. On 28 October, Price was contacted by Laswell to look for signs of ballistic missiles being smuggled out of the city. Gaz and Price tracked a boat to a small port containing a barge and a sizable force of AQ sentries. After killing them, they discovered Las Almas Cartel inside the barge; though no sign of ballistic missiles were found, they discovered that the cartel would be meeting with AQ at Cafe Gracht in Amsterdam.
The next day, Price spied on the AQ and cartel contacts as they conducted a transaction at the cafe. Gaz managed to disable a few guards and worked with Price to capture the AQ smuggler, before extracting him to CIA hands.
Spain[]
On 31 October, Price and Gaz deployed to Spain to infiltrate a cartel hatchery on the western coast at Cape Vilan. While Laswell covered the coast with a sniper, the two used ghillie suits to get to adequate sniping positions, similar to Price's mission with MacMillan in Pripyat. Afterwards, they eliminated the cartel henchmen posted outside before Gaz moved in to secure the buildings with Price's covering fire. Though more heavily armored goons arrived, Gaz and Price eliminated them before they realized they were being picked off.
After confirming the missiles weren't at the hatchery itself, they moved to sniping positions on the lighthouse and spotted many armored al-Qatala terrorists patrolling the vicinity. Though they were forced to use headshots, as their body armor was too thick to penetrate with one shot, the two successfully cleared the area with no alarms being tripped. Similar to before, Gaz moved to secure the buildings while Price covered him. After securing the area, Price and Gaz moved an industrial dryer to move underground, encountering a small cartel sub but no missiles. Suddenly, Laswell was attacked and captured by AQ terrorists, to Price's chagrin.
