John Neville, Baron Neville (1410-29 March 1461) was an English nobleman and soldier who fought for the Lancastrians during the Wars of the Roses.
Biography[]
John Neville was the grandson of Ralph Neville, 1st Earl of Westmorland, and he was summoned to Parliament in 1459, becoming "Lord Neville". He originally supported the Yorkists, but he went over to the Lancastrian side just before the Battle of Wakefield. Neville's half-uncle Richard Neville, 5th Earl of Salisbury, was killed shortly after the battle, and John Neville became Constable of Middleham Castle and Sheriff of Hutton Castle. Neville was killed at the Battle of Towton in 1461.
