
John Myers Felder (7 July 1782-1 September 1851) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-SC 4) from 4 March 1831 to 3 March 1835, succeeding William D. Martin and preceding James Henry Hammond. Born in Orangeburg, he practiced law before serving in the state house from 1812 to 1815, in the state senate from 1816 to 1819, in Congress, in the state house from 1822 to 1823, and in the state senate from 1840 to 1851.
