John Mostyn (1709-16 February 1779) was the Whig MP for Malton from 1741 to 1768. The younger son of Sir Roger Mostyn, 3rd Baronet, he served in the British Army during the War of the Austrian Succession and as Governor of Menorca from 1768 to 1778.
