
John Miller (10 November 1774-31 March 1862) was a member of the US House of Representatives (NR-NY 22) from 4 March 1825 to 3 March 1827, succeeding Justin Dwinell and preceding John G. Stower. Born in Amenia, New York, he practiced medicine in Easton, Fabius, and Truxton before serving as Truxton's postmaster from 1805 to 1825, as a justice of the peace from 1812 to 1821, as a judge, in the State Assembly in 1816-1817, 1820, and 1846, and in Congress.
