John Joseph McGuire III (24 August 1968-) was a Republican member of the Virginia House of Delegates from the 56th district from 10 January 2018 to 10 January 2024 (succeeding Peter Farrell) and a member of the US House of Representatives (R-VA 5) from 3 January 2025 (succeeding Bob Good).
Biography[]
John Joseph McGuire III was born in Richmond, Virginia in 1968, and he served in the US Navy SEALs from 1988 to 1998 before serving in the House of Delegates from 2018. McGuire claimed that his main motivation was to grow businesses in Virginia and provide support for veterans and law enforcement officers, and he was re-elected in an uncontested election on 8 June 2021.
