
John McDougle of Achnasaul (1691-13 November 1715) was a Scottish Jacobite who fought in the Jacobite rising of 1715. The son of Jacobite stalwart Robert McDougle of Achnasaul, he rallied to the Jacobite cause in 1715 and was killed at the bloody Battle of Sheriffmuir. John's two-year-old son Finbar came under Robert's care after his father's death.
