John Jacob Wood (16 February 1784-20 May 1874) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-NY 2) from 4 March 1827 to 3 March 1829, succeeding Joshua Sands and preceding Jacob Crocheron. Born in Clarkstown, he served as town clerk and inspector of schools before serving in Congress.
