
John Gaillard (5 September 1765 – 26 February 1826) was a US Senator from South Carolina from 6 December 1804 to 26 February 1826, succeeding Pierce Butler and preceding William Harper. He was a Democratic-Republican.

John Gaillard was born in St. Stephen's, South Carolina in 1765 to a family of Huguenot descent, and he was elected to the US Senate in 1804 to serve out the remainder of Pierce Butler's unexpired term. He served as a Democratic-Republican senator until his death in office in 1826.
