
John Fordham (died 19 November 1425) was Bishop of Ely from 3 April 1388 to 19 November 1425, succeeding Thomas Arundel and preceding Philip Morgan.
Biography[]
Fordham served as keeper of the privy seal of Prince Richard from 1376 to 1377 and Dean of Wells before being named Lord Privy Seal in June 1377. He held that office until 1381, and he served as Bishop of Durham from 1381 to 1388 and Bishop of Ely from 1388 to 1425. He briefly served as Lord High Treasurer in 1386.
