John Bird (22 November 1768 – 2 February 1806) was a member of the US House of Representatives (F-NY 6) from 4 March 1799 to 25 July 1801, succeeding Hezekiah L. Hosmer and preceding John P. Van Ness.
Biography[]
John Bird was born in Litchfield, Connecticut in 1768, and he became a lawyer in 1786. He moved to Troy, New York in 1793 and served in the State Assembly from 1796 to 1798 and in the US House of Representatives from 1799 to 1801, and he died in 1806.
