John B. Wilson was a Justice of the Peace in Lincoln County, New Mexico during the Wild West. In 1878, following the murder of John Tunstall, lawyer Alexander McSween convinced Wilson to deputize the Lincoln County Regulators and send them to bring in Tunstall's killers.
